I was wondering if anyone had pictures of their tanks with open / suspended canopies? I am considering a new tank with the idea of making it a look down tank. I thought of suspending the canopy. My wife favors a full canopy as it looks more formal and elegant to her. The tank will be in our formal dining room. Any input and pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I had seen that canopy . I was wondering how people attached them if they did not suspend from ceiling. The wife is not going to go for me suspending the canopy from the ceiling. I was considering having a steel bar L shaped attached to back of stand coming out over the tanck. I would attach the canaopy to that. I would possible try and have some sort of adjstment to be able to adjust the height.

I hang my lights from the ceiling. It's no big deal, and the holes are easy to fill if you move. I had to fill my old ceiling holes when I moved.
Here's my current tank.
