Is there anyway to attach a float sensor to an AC III? I'd like to know when my topoff resevoir is low so I know to go refill it with RODI.

Thanks!

You need to make an adapter... If your not a DIY'er you could buy it from neptune.

How do you make the adapter?

Most attach the float switch to an AC3 or 3Pro with the io breakout box - http://www.neptunesys.com/probes.htm#IOBREAKOUT .

I already have an ATO. What is the advantage to getting the break out box and controlling from the AC3? Just trying to understand 'cause I haven't bought it yet.

Some advantages are:
- Remotely override top-off control.
- Manually turn on/off top-off.
- Log how often it turns on/off w/ AquaNotes
- Can use other monitored probes to change behavior (i.e. dose Kalkwasser if pH > X, and does H2O if pH < X).
