skimmer-less 65?

Hello all!
I have a 65 tank, which has been set up since April. I've had a Euro-reef ES 5-3 on it for awhile. Well, about a month ago, the skimmer started acting up really bad. It got to the point of annoying, so I took it out. I haven't really noticed a huge difference from when I had the skimmer on there. I thought about making my whole sump into a refugium, and skipping the skimmer all together. What are you guys/gals thoughts on this?

While i'd personally recommend just getting a better skimmmer, what you're proposing is completely possible and many have done thriving beautiful systems with no skimmers at all. Just be sure to watch water quality a little closer and definatly up the refugium size. The more the better.
