I just bought a purple Nudibranch cause the fish store said that they ate algae. I find out that they only eat Dysidea and Aplysilla sponges. Does anyone know where I can get those types of sponge? Thanks!

Can you take it back to the store and tell them how displeased you are at being given false information and being sold an animal you can't take care of.

I would if it were a store I didn't care about. We go to this store 3-5x a week just to hang out with the people. It's a small local business and they always give us discounts. They aren't known for good advise, but then again, neither is any fish store I have been. I LOVE THE INTERNET! Maybe I will take it back anyways and just tell them of my research, maybe get something else instead. I wanted a pretty slug :( Any suggestions on alge eaters that are pretty? Thanks!

They're not all that colorful per say, but the lettuce nudis are good algal grazers, and I think they are pretty neat looking... The only big downfall with them is that they seem to be freakishly good at finding their way to powerheads, and then you have lettuce nudi milkshake in your tank to deal with.
