What are the coloration differences with Blue Hippo Tangs?

Fiji -- ???
Indian Ocean --???
Solomon Island -- vibrant blue w/ dark black markings?
African -- yellow bellies?

When do you think the California whse will have the Solomon Isl ones in stock?

Thank you for your questions. The Blue Hippo Tangs on our Live Aquaria site from Fiji, Indo-Pacific, and Solomon Islands will all be blue with dark markings and yellow on their tails. The Blue Hippo Tangs on our Diver’s Den Site will have the yellow bellies.

The availability of The Blue Hippo Tangs from the Solomon Islands is dependent on what we have available in our aquatics center, and this depends on what we are able to harvest from the wild. Our holding facility does receive daily shipments, so the stock can change from day to day. We are unable to give you a specific date as to when we will have the specimen in stock.
