i have a 135g tank that has been up and running for almost a year. 2 weeks ago i noticed a small white feather duster in one of my rocks. now their are 4 growing in the same rock. are these good or bad? if they are bad how do you get rid of them? thanks for any response.

they are fine, just filter feeders that dont hurt anything.if you dont want them a CBB will eat them fast.IMO they are beneficial to your system, but they can spread out kind of quick.i know people that put them in there refuge or sump for the filtration they provide.
