I have a 37 gallon and I was wandering if the AquaC Remora Pro skimmer rated for tanks up to 75gallons would be good enough filtration with 40lbs live sand and 30lbs caribbean live rock??

It is a safe bet Caliloaner, fine for that size tank.

Thanks, I'm pretty new too this hobby and I'm trying to do everything right... I just bought a 380w light 1x250w MH w/ 2x65w blue actinic and 2x blue leds. I want my 37 to look as exotic as possible with clams, corals, inverts and a few fish.

Those lights will do the trick for the high light species you wish to keep. Limit the number of fish and the clams and such should thrive.

I contacted the tech support staff at Aqua Clear and they were very helpful: www.proteinskimmer.com. I am very happy with mine.
