I was a bit concerned with this anemone at first but it always ate well and after 1 month looks pretty good, 12 inches under 14k 400watt metal halide in a 60 cube reef

nice! was the RBTA bleached when you got it, or did it just suddenly bleach one day? also, what did you do to get it back to normal? (details are good--ie. how much you fed, how often, etc) I'm asking for my own curiosity, but also bc it seems that many members have asked how to nurse a sick anemone back to health :)
thanks,
~jamie

thanks
I bought it slightly bleached and it got worse for a while (2 weeks)
I fed a piece of table shrimp soaked in selcon twice a week for about a month. The piece was approximately 1 cm cubed. It has always had a very strong feeding response less than 1 min for food to dissappear.
The anemone has not moved for the entire time in the tank it had no rips or tears on the foot or oral disc (very important).
the bases of the tentacles are green (best viewied in actinic light)
it is really the green brown colour that has recovered the most i.e the zooxanthelle)
It appers to love the light though.
Definately prettied up for you. :D
