Hi All! My Resun CL 650 Chiller just gave way yesterday. My corals are feeling the heat. At the moment I'm so tied up with work that I can't send the chiller for repair. Can my fishes and corals survive without the chiller for another week? In the meeantime what can I do? Assuming other parameters like Ph,Alkalinity and Carbonate Hardness are well maintained will they be ok?
Any advice is welcome

A fan will help keep the temp down a couple of degrees. Bags of ice will work to.

I have use frozen water bottles, but I would take the time to get it fixed fast. You will regret it if you lose some coral or fish.

Thanks Woody and Paul. Your advice are great and that's what I've been doing- storing a number of frozen water bottles and using a fan. I'll try to get it fixed asap.
Thanks Guys

I would freeze your top off water and throw it in as soon as the temp starts to spike. I did that on my previous 55g and it worked well, didn't keep the temps below 83, but they didnt go far over it.
