I've got enough SPS in my tank to where I'm having a hard time keeping my calcium levels up without doing constant water changes. I've been doing 1 gallon a day changes for the last couple of weeks and it's getting kind of old.

Anyone using any calcium additives in their nano? I've always been partial to Kent stuff, so I was looking at the Tech CB stuff (I think that's what it's called - the 2 part ca/alk treatment). Kent also has a 2 part additive marketed just for nanos - is it really any different than the regular (non-nano stuff)?

I use Kent supplements on my SPS reef.

I start with the nano A & B, you need to dose and test and figure out how much you need of each to keep the levels up (I use 30 drops/day but yours will be different).

I supplement the 2 part solution with Kent liquid calcium, magnesium and carbonate.

Haven't needed to use the carbonate but I do a capful of calcium and a capful of mag every week in addition to water changes and the 2 part dosing.

I dose Randy's 2 part. Was using B-ionic and loved it too.
