There are so many contrasting reviews on skimmers I am more confused than ever.
Right now I have a budge of around 100 dollars and I need a good skimmer for my 55 gallon tank.
Keep in mind that I am completely new to reefing. Currently I have 70 pounds of live rock, 25 pounds of live sand, and some mushrooms.
I plan on adding as much soft corals that i can grow under my 4x65 PC's and a fish or two.
First I considered a used aqua c, then a typhoon, and a coralife super skimmer. Every time I have my heart set on one I read something terrible.
So which is the down to earth satisfactory skimmer for a new reefkeeper?
Thanks for your time,
Logan
