It was fine for the first month but then it just closed up and hasn't opened in over 5 days. I'm starting to get worried because I dont want it to die. I feed it Mysis shrimp in the evening but lately it does not open up anymore. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

This is what it used to look like but now its not opening anymore :(

Feed it cyclops and squid juice. Try to feed it outside the tank. Take a plastic bowl and dip it in the tank. Put the suncoral in the bowl while submersed with some water. Drop some cyclops in the water or even selcon. Leave in the bowl for a few mins and use a turkey baster to move the water around in the bowl.

Mine actually didn't open for about three days. Each evenng I would spray Cyclop-ezze over all of the polyps. On the 4th day they were all out as beautiful as ever. Hope this helps

Yours looks fine, the polyps are not supposed to be out all the time. But do as everyone else said and try to feed it. The only trouble occurs when recession happens, but even then if you continue to feed baby polyps will grow and cover the bare areas.
