so they sold it to me as a goby, he didnt know the actual name, but after watching it i think its a blenny it seems to like to pick at the rocks and glass for algae. it is a dark to light blue with its top fin a bright yellow, do you think anyone can help me id this fish, and anything specific to its care here are a few pics i tried to take of him just a few minutes ago. i am also posting this in the reef fishes forum.http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc201/jquailus/fishtank099.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc201/jquailus/fishtank096.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc201/jquailus/fishtank095.jpg

blenny
Beautiful fish, but looks like a variety of combtooth blenny: he'll clean your rocks and glass and otherwise be a pretty peaceful sort of fellow, compatible with any sort of gobies.

I think I've found your guy for you: a black and yellow, obviously enough. ;)
23.00---for one of the less common blennies: should be a real nice specimen.

A yellow watchman goby would look really nice with your blenny!!!

those guys are cool, but they tend to be LPS nippers. Keep an eye on him.
