Has anyone every had a Tomato Clown host in anything other then an anemone? I have had my clown for just about a year and its still very small (about 1 -1.5 inches) and it has hosted in my red cynarina as long as I have had it. Even when I moved both the clown and the cynarina from a 20 gal to my 65 he found it and started hosting again. Does this fish not have all its marbles?

That's normal. My clown wouldn't leave a heater knob until he discovered something more suitable (my torch) (And its the coral that does the hosting :) ) Maybe if you put a nem or something else similar in, it would move to that, but as long as the coral isn't being bothered I would just say enjoy your goofy clown!

Yeah its been about a year and I don't think the cynarina minds, the clown brings back little tid bits for it. I would think The clown would like my hammers better. To each is own I guess.

I had a goofy tomato as well, when I initially put her in she started hosting in the feather duster, the duster didnt seem to mind but in a few days she found the GBTA.
