I gave away my two blue tangs last year. Last month I decided to add a blue back in (but smaller). Was in Q-tank for about week+. Looked OK. Put into tank last weekend, was still good.

This morning I noticed white spots. Much smaller then regular ICK. It is a reef tank and I have never (15years) had ICK.

How do I treat the reef. There is no way I can catch my tang in a 120!! to take him out and treat.

There are no reef safe Ich cures. You need to capture and remove to a QT and treat it there. Your tank would then need to be left fallow for 6 weeks to 3 months to completely irradicate the Ich. Probably not what you wanted to hear but i've been there. Also i would QT for a minimum of 3 weeks in the future with anything you would put in you tank
