Placement of Tyree Watermelon Chalice?

I just purchased this, for now it's resting in my frag tank. What lighting/flow do these do best under? It's the one on the left in the picture, the one on the right is just an unidentified chalice. It lost most of it's pink in shipping, but looks healthy otherwise.

Medium flow, they can be acclimated to almost any lighting. I know people who keep them 18" under 400 watt mh. And some people who keep them under power compacts. I keep mine about 12 to 14 inches under 150 watt 20k's.

Since yours appears to be stressed out pretty bad, I'd start low, and work your way up........slowly.

Thanks, right now it is in the main tank, around 22" down between two 250 MHs. I have been watching it closely, but the pink it should be might take some time to form.

Keep it lower light and the pink will pop!
