New Monti Cap

Hi, just finished gluing this Monti Cap I bought a week ago.

What do you guys/gals think? I’m not entirely satisfied with the way it looks. With the growth pattern it’s showing should it be mounted vertically or horizontally?

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it almost looks as if it is mounted upside down. I am just going by its shape and how it is starting to cup. The reality is that should be a very fast growing coral, and it will not matter how it was mounted a few months from now.

It will be nice once it gets goin. It will color up and it will grow whichever way you mount it in the way it wants.

Its either the bright orange or the brown. Im thinking the bright orange.

Here in Puerto Rico is next to impossible getting any kind of SPS. All of my SPS (all four of them ) :o had to be special ordered by my LFS. The deal is that I have to buy them even if I don't like them.

Well keep me posted. I want to know what color it becomes. It might even become purple. I see a hint of that also.
