Please Help My Scolymia!!!!!!

Someone help my scolymia, its a large red one, and apiece of live rock fell on it. One of the sides of tissue was torn. Will it repair itself or is their something i can do, Please help!!!!!!!!!

Let it heal itself. Make sure you feed it good, it will help it heal faster. Also make sure nothing is bothering it because it will make it heal slower and could hurt it even more.

also you will will find that algae will want to makes its home on the exposed skeleton, try and keep that free of algae, as it makes it harder for the tissue to slide over the skeleton. I had the similar issue, and that was the hardest part.

If possible make sure there's no brown slime forming by the injury.

If it does do a saltwater with TMPCC or lugols dip to help heal

To go along with this post, the same thing happened to mine and now it seems like algae is starting to grow on the exposed skeleton......what can I do?????
