I see that a lot of peoble have salinty level of 1,027 and i´ve seen it down to 1,023, i currently have 1,025, do i benefit in eny way by raising or lower my salinty level???

those are specific gravity measurements not salinity, salinity is in ppt and NSW is on average 35ppt, SG is temperature dependent, salinity is not.

Ok, is either better then the other?

if you keep your tank at XX temp then XX SG is what you'd be shooting for to match the average NSW levels or just 35ppt salinity..............but FO systems can be kept at much lower levels and you can have success at variations both above and below NSW levels, consistency within those limits is the key.

i run all my systems (currently 6) at 35ppt and in case of emergences i can move something from tank to tank with minimal if any acclimation at all.

The is no evidence that keeping a tank at anything other than NSW levels is beneficial. That said, specific gravity differs slightly around the world.

I think 1.025 is a fine place to be. If your tank looks good, it probably is. :)

i would keep it around 1.026 or 1.025 a lot of parasites like ich and other have a harder time surviving in a higher SG
