I'm trying to decide whether to order a tank with starphire glass or not. The difference in price is $100. The glass thickness will be 3/8 inches... regular glass can add a bit of a green tint, but starphire glass is clear and therefore shows more true colors. The difference between the two at this particular glass thickness may be marginal however. Having never seen the two side by side, I don't have any way to make such a judgement and am having a hard time deciding. Does anyone have a subjective opinion on this?

if the 100 doesnt mean that much to you, go starphire

Sometimes I like the tint of regular glass, it can give an artificial underwater effect... hard to explain....

Anyways, I would go with the starfire if the $100 is a fraction of the cost of the tank (I wouldn't pay $100 to add it to a $200 tank, but I would pay the $100 to add it to a $500 tank).

The larger the investment the more important complete satisfaction is!

i'd get the starphire, i'm regretting i didn't (and it would have been a lot more then another 100 for me).

go with the starfire. It is the cost of one coral.
