Curt,
Do you feel doing the manual calibration using the 400 solution to be as accurate as the 7/4 solutions with quinhydrone? If so, will you have a new firmware release that changes the default method?

Reason i ask this, is the fact its harder to aquire quinhydrone and the potential health risk associated with it. The following is from the MSDS.

Potential Acute Health Effects:
Very hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant, permeator), of eye contact (irritant), of ingestion, of inhalation.
Inflammation of the eye is characterized by redness, watering, and itching. Skin inflammation is characterized by
itching, scaling, reddening, or, occasionally, blistering.

Potential Chronic Health Effects:
Very hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant, permeator), of eye contact (irritant), of ingestion, of inhalation.
The substance is toxic to lungs, mucous membranes.
Repeated or prolonged exposure to the substance can produce target organs damage. Repeated or prolonged
inhalation of dust may lead to chronic respiratory irritation.

I feel that the 400 mV solution is less accurate than the quinhydrone method. Premixed ORP calibration solutions are typically not pH stable, and this results in an inaccurate calibration.
