View Full Version : guesss what flat worms are in my tank!

well i noticed today some flat worms on the sides of my glass im pretty ****ed off but o well i happens. besides dipping all my corals 1 by one and qting how good of a job would a 6 line wrasse do of cleaning up house? also what other fish or inverts have a taste for these little buggers. the tank is a 29gallon 100% sps system. thxs

If you found them on the aquarium walls, then they are most likely just regular flatworms. If that is the case, you should just treat your system with flatworm exit. It is easy and cheap. Just do a large water change at the end of the treatment. This is nothing to worry about.

i hope soo i mean they are not the huge ones and my corals done look like they are getting eaten. so yea ill try it thxs alot man

Not the same flat worms. Those are the harmless ones.

Treat with flatworm exit...............good luck this stuff works very well. no need to dip your corals.

those flatworms are usually a sign of high nutrients in your tank. high nutrients and sps usually dont mix. try getting your nutrient levels down by skimming wetter and more water changes and im sure the flat worms will go away and you'll notice a change in your sps corals.
