Thinking about putting 2 koralina 3 power heads on each side of tank. Tank is 90 gal show, 5 ft long and 2 ft high, and 18 in front to back. I want more flow in tank but dont want to over do it and have a sand storm. Any sug would be appreciated.............

Running a K3 and K4 on a 72" 125gal on opposite ends of the tank....small trench caused by the K4, adjusted it up a little bit = no more trench....good flow, but K3 seems to be a bit more directional than the K4 (wider dispersion)

I think 2 Koralia 3's would be right for your size of tank. I run 2 4s on my 150 and i had to do alot of tweaking to stop the sand from blowing about

Oh - and IMO they are great powerheads.

I had two 3's and one 2 in a 55 gallon BB. They work great - I like them alot.

I just added a second K4 in my 90 and it is great. Now my 90 is only 4 feet, so I would think in your 90 long the K3's would be a little small. Of course it also depends on what you are planning on keeping. They are really easy to adjust BTW.

I have 2 K3 and 2 K4 on my 110 tall tank. They are great pumps. I would defintly go with the K4's for your tank as they seam to disperse the flow better. Good luck,
