I bought my clown a couple months ago and his color was fine. Then i noticed his color was fading and then his mouth was stuck open. I bought medicine and it fixed his mouth but his color is still the same and it looks unattractive. Now i bought another false perc today and i really like the bright color it has and hope it stays like that. Also, the belly on the darker one seems huge!

Heres some pictures. I took pictures of both as a comparison.

It's just normal variation due to genetics. Nothing wrong with the fish that I can see.

All three of my Percula's are that dark. I think Percula9 is right, just genetics. I hope my three darken with some black as they grow up. Anyway as long as they continue to be healthy I'll be happy.
