New light acclimation

I need some suggestions for light acclimation. I had a 24w PC light on my nano 12. My new 70w HQI came in today and I am putting it on the tank in the morning. What would be a proper acclimation cycle?

Hmmm, you could either put egg crate on top so the light wouldn't be as intense or you just have the light on for a short period of time the first week and then add about 1 hour every week before you have the lights on like you had them on now.
