well..i got a great deal on tunze 6080 and I'd hate to not use it because their awesome for circulation but it appears to be to strong for my 75 gallon tank. The only way I can restrict the flow to a comfortable level is to place a rock directly in front of it and believe it or not it's still more than enough flow...

all i have in the tank is a clean up crew and two shrimp...ever since i took the rock out from in front of the tunze they now hide and do not enter the flow path. I must turn the pump off to feed them some flake food.

any suggestions? The tunze if awesome and I'd hate to replace it for a couple Hydor pumps....maybe im being paranoid but i cant imagine fish enjoying this super flow in their swim path...

my 75 has two Stream 6100s in it with no problems from anything in the tank.

Yeah, I used to have a 6100 in a 72g. No probs. You could try aiming another power head at it to create some more chaotic flow.
