I need more water moverment

I have a 90 gallon (48 in) tank, i have to power heads on oppisite sides of the tank and one in the front on one side and one in the back. They are at the top of the tank and kinda push the water into a circular movement. I think they are two mid sizes maxi-jet possible around 200 gallons an hour i dont know to be exact, but they are new. Should i add more power heads or move them, please help

IMO small maxi-jet type pumps should only be used in smaller tanks or as supplemental flow. Look into Seios, Hydor Koralia, Tunze (Stream or Nanostream), Vortech and Maximods.

I have a 90 gallon too. I use two Koralia 4 (1200 or 1300 gph flow) and 2 Seio 820.

I think you need a lot more flow. I will say that the Seio provide a nice hard flow, but still less of a **** stream shape then say a maxi jet. But the Koralia is sweet in that it shoots omni-directionally. You can stick your hand in front of it and it feels like 6 200 gph powerheads shooting in different directions. I like them a lot, plus they use a magnet and suction cup to mount, and you can put them anywhere, very versatile. If I could do it again I would have 4 of those.

Two Koralia 4's will do the trick. I had to aim them in such a way to make less flow in 1 corner for the corals that don't seem to like alot.

That is the primary reason I bought them. I could aim them anywhere.

You might wish to check out the Tunze Nano pumps. With simple modifications which can be found on RC, their output can be increased dramatically. They generate very little heat, put out a wide flow pattern, and they have a small footprint in the tank.

I have a clown fish, yellow tang, pearlscale butterfly, red star, snails, mushrooms, two anemones, christmas tree polyp, other random reef stuff, no hard corals, or corals type things. So i should get tunze nano pumps. Thanks alot you guys
