I have a 180 gallon with 180 live rock and was wondering if I would be ok putting a pair of Maroon clowns in the tank. Below is my current fish list... and planned additions...

I currently have about a 2 month old tank...
with a
2.5 inch dog face puffer
1.5- 2 inch Harliquin Tusk
2 inch Coral Beauty Angel
I wanted to add 2 small maroon clowns or 1 Tang (small)
and plan to add either and Emperor or Annularis Angels (JUNV) in a month or two...

I would think I could add an Anemone or two because I have the lighting...

I do not plan to have any other fish in the tank other that what is listed above...max of either 5 or 6 fish... def getting an Angel though.

I was wondering if the clowns would be ok and survive and when I should add them?

OR

Would I be better off to add either a Tang of some type? If a Tang over the clowns when do I add before or after the Angel?

Thanks!

GSM's are pretty agressive clowns so I think you would be ok as far as them not getting killed. I kept a GSM with my porcupine puffer and they did great together. I'd wait at least couple months before adding more fish; even though thats a big tank, it seems like you're stocking it pretty quickly. Even when they're small, puffers are very messy and produce a huge bioload.

Most people suggest waiting a year before adding anemone's, they require very stable conditions.

yeah I did not plan to add anything else right now...
I had 8 damsels in there for three weeks to try and rasie the bio load and pulled them out before adding the other 3 fish (catching them was a huge pain in the butt!!!) I am just thinking ahead, I was think 1 month then add either the clowns or the Tang (if I get clowns I do not plan to ever add the Tang or vice versa) and then another month or so and add the Angel...

Thanks for you help!
