Anyone familiar with Dendrochirus barberi? What struck me is on wetwebmedia, they indicated very venemous. Is this fish more venemous then other dwarfs?

Are there any other lionfish/scorpionfish with red eyes? I think this is the fish I found at the LFS, but I want to make sure - it is listed as unidentified at the store.

Does anyone house this fish with other lionfish or scorpionfish? I'm thinking of getting one, but I'm not sure how it would work with my dwarf zebra. I thought I read at one point the fuzzy and dwarf zebras can be problematic together. Is this true? What concerns me is that the lionfish care sheet mentions that this fish should receive similar care to that of the fuzzy. I want to make sure there would be no problems.

Thanks in advance for info!

Hi-
You keep and treat them like they are D. brachypterus (dwarf fuzzies) or D Zebras, no different.
Yup thats what I said

I am not aware that they are more venomous than other scorpionfish.
If the fish in questions looks like the fish at the bottom of my lionfish info sheet article, then its prolly D Barberi

they should be fine w/ other dwarf lionfish
