My refugium is finally bouncing back from our move and I wanted to share some photos.

My refugium (on display) is actually one of my favorite parts of my tank and I wanted to see what some other refugiums looked like :D

Pretty, especially the red macro algae. I never had any luck with red macro. I love the red/green color contrast.

Bump....this seems like a pretty cool idea for a thread --it'd be great to see a few.

A cool vase sponge

A bad picture of one of the many clams that just started growning in there

and just a fun closeup that shows the density of seahorse munchies

Now that I am home and can see your pics (well most of them), david, your fuge is definitely worthy of being a DT.

Great job!!

You have more cool stuff in your fuge than I have in my DT!

Smootie: Thanks! the way I see it, my fuge is a second DT, so I spend at least as much time and effort on it as I do on my DT.

DH: Not sure if the question is directed at me, but I dont do anything to the sand at any interval, however, if I notice something (like accumulating detritus or a spot of cyano or whatever), I turkey baste it a little, check my fuge pump to make sure its not blocked, and look to see if I am missing a group of my 'little workers' (amphipods, bristleworms, spaghetti worms, snails, etc.) that should be taking care of those things and add them if necessary (I just seeked out a tank with a large spaghetti worm population and added them again a couple of weeks ago). Im also in there moving stuff about a fair amount so it gets disturbed at a low-intermediate level fairly often.

Nice David!
Are you still in Tampa? I think it was you who moved there a couple years back, kind of lost touch with your tanks and everything else. Hope all is well!

That's an awesome fuge setup. Where is it in relation to your DT?
