Im considering two MJ900 with eco mods for around tank flow, wanting to keep acros and zoas, maybe a few lps.
Lighting will be 250W 20kK XM.
should i consider two MJ1200's? seems like a bunch of flow in that small tank.

I have two MJ1200's in my NC24 and could use even more flow...

Do they have the ecomod on them though? This thing makes MJ's just SCREAM

Does it replace the impeller? If it's an add on to the output nozzle then I can't use it as one of my MJ1200's is my return pump and the other is a closed loop.
Anyone have pics of one in use?

I'm just getting my AP24 up and running, and right now I have a MJ1200 and a Tunze 6045 that's rated at 1189 GPH and I can already tell that I'm going to want more. I'll probably end up modding the 6045 or adding a spare MJ900 at some point.

Just thought I'd throw this out there.... watch for excessive heat. I'm having a hard time keeping my 30 cube below 82-84 degrees because of so many powerheads and filters and a 250W halide. I've got 2 MJ 1200's running, a crappy little rio mini on my in-tank fuge, a HOB filter that always runs hot and a Rena filstar xp2.

I will have a 1/10th chiller on the 30, with 250W 20kK halide, probably just one ML1200 with an ecomod, a marineland cs-160 canister and a nano remora skimmer. I think this should be enough flow.
