Roger,
I am trying to decide on what model Tunze i should get. Currently i have a 125g (6'x18"x20") and will be upgrading to a 190g (6'x2'x2') within a year or so. Would you suggest 2 6200's or 2 6100's? I would probably consider this the main flow for the tank, but i may have a close loop on it as well putting another 1000 ghp into the tank. The return is only a Mag9 with maybe 700gph after head pressure.

Thanks,
Patrick

I would get the 2 6100, the 6200 has a wider flow jet and would be more useful if the tank was 30" wide. 6101 is actually the current version of 6100, that is the one you want to order.

Roger, can you purchase the 6201 housing to make it a wider flow with the 6101? Would you then loose performance across a 72" tank?

You can do this but the flow doesn't reach as far. It is more spread out but with a much shorter reach.
