Ive had a bad case of brown algae for a little while now and it no it's a chemistry problem but i've been out and broght 10 turbo snails, 1 algae blennie and a sifting gobie. Do you think they will help control the problem or not even touch it.

They'll help control the symptoms but not the problem. I wouldn't expect the turbo's to touch anything on the sandbed though, they'll stay on the glass/rocks more than anything. The "algae blenny" may or may not depending on weather he likes the particular algae you have growing. If it's diatoms, probably not. Sifting gobie will do nothign more than help stire the sandbed.

All this can help to some extent but alot will just depend on why you are having the algae problems and what type of algae it is. Brown is awfully vague description considering several species are a brown color. can you get a pic for us?

Sand sifting goby will likely perish. It sounds like you've got a relatively new tank..?
