Hello. Can I put a small overflow box that has drains into my tank and have it act as a fuge? On the box there are drain holes cut into the top of it. I put it very close to the location of where my outflow water coming from my wetdry is, so it looks like it is getting enough flow inside of the fuge.

I put some sand, small pieces of baserock and a few empty snail shells. The rock is very porous. If I was to populate this fuge/box with amphiods and conopods would they most likely multiply?

The box was from a wetdry combo i bought on Ebay. I could not use it because I have a built in overflow in my tank.

Thanks for the help and sorry about the spelling.

you could probably do that but u cant have to much flow through it or the amphiods and conopods would get blown out
