I have a 5x3x2 tank. I've been running 2 x 6000's and 1 x 6100 on a multicontroller. I had enough total flow but after a lot of trial and error some spots were still dead and others were getting blasted.
Well I just did some switching and got 2 x 6200 streams.
What a difference!!!!!
In a 5 foot tank and 4 inches of sand I don't need all the flow they have to offer but I turned the driver all the way down and it is working perfectly. Very wide, and noticably wider than either the 6000 or 6100.
Now I get a ton of gently flow around the whole tank. No dead spots and no blasting.
