Coral Releasing Fluid

I have a clove polyp that is releasing this transparent brown fluid. What is it doing, it this harmful to other tank inhabitants ?

sounds like it's sliming a bit. Corals can shed a mucus tunic occasionally, and it's not usually harmful to other corals unless the coral releases a ton of it and the mucus ends up directly on another coral. If you're diligent about your water changes and aren't overstocked, you're probably fine. Keep an eye on it.
