How about this tank, 75G Glass, 48'' length,
there are two heaters, one FLUVAL 305 and one cascade 1000 canister filters and one Hang back filter.
I paid $300 for it, is that a good price?
I have no idea what the canister filters are, are they good for saltwalter fish? What media I need to buy to fill the chamber?

The price isn't too bad with the equipment. If your going fish only then the filter system you got will be a good start. Do a Google search for the media for the filters.
If your leaning towards a reef setup then you may want to do some more reading on skimmers lighting and sumps before you make any purchases. Buying before you decide the direction you want to go in can put a real drain on the wallet.

Thank you for your sugguestion.
Do you mean the filters are not for Reef acquarium?
I may start from the Fish Only but I will put the corals when i feel comfortable. I have a CPR BAK skimmmer for my 20G tank, is that enough for 75G?

Duke:
Every piece of equipment is relative to the bio-load type your system has. The skimmer might be ok with a softy tank with a light fish load. Check out some of the many systems here on RC. They will point you in some good directions. You don't have to spend a fortune to have a nice system, however, buying equipment for one bio system and changing later to another gets costly. Its best to figure out what you want and stick with it for a while.

Also - one of the major functions of a skimmer is to export nutrients. There are many ways to do this, but a skimmer is the most popular one. If you have a refugium with a lot of macro it can greatly reduce the need for a skimmer. The CPR should definitely be ok for a while - I would be more concerned about getting other equipment (live rock and sand) first.
Canister filters - good for running carbon and adding circulation but I that's about all I would use it for. $300 is a great price for the setup.
With your skimmer, canister filter, and the addition of some live rock and powerheads you would be off to a good start. But like I said the only media I would keep in that canister filter is carbon. It can become filled quickly and become a huge source for nitrates.
