Hi all im just wondering if a calsium reactor shuld be added to my system?
O have a 46 gallon tank woth about 10+ sps and amny many many more to come.(Its going to be sps dominant with about 40-60sps most of witch are and will be frags with a few softies and a couple of clams).
If I do need a calsium reactor i cant spend over 100$. I was thinkin of buying one of thes http://oceanaquatics.com/store/product/148/Phosban-Reactor-150/ and fill it up with this and other 1/2 kalk mix. http://oceanaquatics.com/store/product/966/Gen-X-Reactor-Media/
Would i need a co2 tank to run this?

Or should I go with an actuall calcium reactor? The one I chose is picked is http://oceanaquatics.com/store/category/49/423/Via-Aqua/ . Is this one any good for my tank size.

Have you considered using 2-part with a doser? A tank that big, even moderatly stocked or more would be easy to do this way.

How is the demand for calcium right now? what readings are you getting is it low less then 400? If you can keep up with the demand with 2part then a calcium reactor will only be a matter of preference. They work well once they are dialed in but I like the 2 part with a dosing pump:)
