I "recently" bought a Red Sea 50mg/hr ozonizer/controller from a friend but never see it being used. My ozonizer reads at 460mV.

Is this number readily achievable using just O2 and not O3? Or do you think its time for a new probe or possibly calibration?

My setup is a little unique in that all water that wants to go to the sump must pass through my G3 Skimmer as the skimmer is gravity feed. If I were to guess the flow rate through the skimmer I would guess my return line puts about 200~300gph.

Thanks,

Richard

if you're not putting any form of oxidizer in the tank it's nowhere near that high on its own and that's pushing a upper level of wiping the tank out if it's accurate, which i doubt.

clean the probe and calibrate it, probes need to be changed about every two years and NEVER let one dry out.
