Hi I was thinking of buying a citron or yellow clown goby, I remember reading somewhere someone saying that they should only be quarintined a few days. Is this true, right now all I have in my 36 gal tank is a fridmani pseudochromis, could I just put the goby in the tank without quarintine? thanks.

If you add anything to your tank without quarantine you run the risk of spreading any number of parasites and other undesirables to your other animals. It isn't worth it. I quarantine for 2 weeks min.

There is an issue in that many quarantine tanks can't support the food reqirements of the animal that they contain. In that case you pretty much have to limit quarantine. If your Goby is one of those, and I believe it is, it is best to limit the quarantine time.

I would quarantine the fish in an Eclipse 6 tank, could I add Paraguard to the tank with a goby?
