I've been looking to get one here: http://www.purewaterclub.com/
I believe several URS members have been using them with good results.
Of course the one you're looking at seems good too. Don't know if you really need the pressure gauge though, unless you have low water pressure.

A buddy of mine got a great deal on ebay and I have known lots of others who have as well. Years ago I got mine @ http://www.removed for violation of our commercial policies.com/ and was very happy with it as well. I got the float valve with it and hooked it into my sump so I never had to do a top off - best idea ever. I also have a kitchen one from home depot that works really well too.

I have the one right above it on that page - basically the same core system without the "addons" (TDS meter, etc). I've been very happy with it, and the filter guys are great to deal with. It seems to be every bit as good as my old Kent Maxxima was, but for about half the price.

I got one from these guys. It's the 6 stage one with the extra filter for drinking water (I have a 3gal storage tank). I have around 300 ppm TDS going into the unit and 1-2 ppm coming out of the di resin. it's about 6 ppm coming out of the taste and odor filter. I just went to Lowes and got some food grade line and a on off spigot, so I now have a line just for fish water and a line running to my faucet for drinking. I get about 1 gallon per 10 mins. I think I paid about $115 shipped (bought it from their ebay store front). So far I'm happy with this unit. I had to buy about $20 in extra plumbing parts to get it setup how I wanted it.

Hello Dave,
I picked my up from Melves reef. Its the same system that is use on the zoo tank. What I like about it is
* the clear housing (so we can see how dirty it is)
* standard 10" form so you can buy filters at stores like home depot, lowes...
* Price

The clear housing is a nice feature of the Melves unit. Do you actually go by looks or do you change them based on time?
