T-5 Overdrive

I currently am running 2 sets of 2 x 54 watt T-5s in addition to my 3 x 250 DE MHs over my 180. The T-5s are running off of advance "slimline" ballasts. I would like to hook all the T-5s together and overdrive them with an Icecap ballast.

How hard is that to do?
Do I need the Icecap harness that comes with them?
Are there any problems with overdriven bulbs that I need to watch for?

yes you'll need to use the IceCap harness and one thing you may need to do when overdriving the bulbs is have active cooling of the bulbs (a fan blowing over them) if you don't have one allready.

I've a fan blowing into each end of the canopy, but not directly over the T-5s.......?

over driven bulbs need active cooling across the bulbs or the lifespan of the bulbs are shortened considerably.
