I was re-arranging powerheads today and found a couple of these little buggars. They seemed to have a sort of a half shell that covered the head portion of their body. The pattern on the skin resembled that of an acro-worm, but I didn't think that those had any kind of shell. Anyone know what this is and more importantly is it a danger to anything in my tank?

wow, I couldn't figure out why my image tag wasn't working and it took me 10 minutes to realize that three letters spelled W T F when put together make a taboo word in this forum. That was annoying but kind of funny, considering I had named the jpeg ***.jpeg (W T F) so it wouldnt post

They eat algae.

That's funny that you used a cussing phrase for the filename. It makes sense that it wouldn't work here. ;)

But thats the thing, it wasnt really cussing, it was three letters that are a popular online abreviation for cussing.

I understood. I said 'cussing phrase'. RC doesn't like bad words.

Although with this hobby, we tend to learn them all, and invent a few of our own. http://melevsreef.com/g/censored.gif
