I found a really nice piece of freeware today called "ChemSketch". It has 2D and 3D modes and is really easy to use (it seems more geared toward organic chemistry). Heres an example I just drew, phosphate:

I haven't played with program very much yet, but Im pretty sure that you can draw out reactions with structures and curved arrows. This could be really useful for discussion on the forum; if anyone wants it you can find it @ http://www.acdlabs.com/ and its FREE! :)
