You gotta be kidding me with the username and occupation. I hope its a play on words referencing "Cooking Live Rock". This site is used by many people including adolescents. The advocay of "CDS"or a Controlled Dangerous Substance is not funny, especially Crack/Cocaine. I dont think it has a place here on Reef Central.

Depends on the light, color, etc. A 65 watt Power Compact vs. a 70 watt halide vs. 48 watts T5s are all very different things because of the efficiency at which they can make that light. The colors of the bulbs (usually bluer bulbs are duller) also have an impact.

My suggestion for a 10g is to ditch it, and get a 2' tank instead. This will allow you to use T5s, which for tanks this size I think are a much better option. 2x24wattT5s can light up a 15L rather well, 4x24wattT5s will light a 20H enough for SPS.

herb? Like the FBI isnt already watching me. I get packages from Austria, light movers and halides for the tanks, my T5s came from a place called 'seeds etc.', my electric bill is about 2x normal, and I have extra vents blowing hot & humid air out of my place. Not to mention, I most likely stand out on a thermalgraphic camera so well, and I live near a University... so Im sure the cops know who I am....lol.

lol so funny he offered to trade herb for postcount in another thread thats why i was asking

i live across the street from a college and i look at the meters on our apartment building.. not good my electricity meter moves 5 times faster minimum than my neighbors. also i have a room that glows blue from my hqi pendants and open top oh and in the summer i have 3 air conditioners running to keep the rooms and 4 fishtanks cool enough.
im just waiting for them to stick a gun in my face while im sleeping while they search the house.

all depends what you are keeping, a good rule of thumb is 10w per gallon of water
