I had a small disaster hit while I was at work today.

The pump to my HOB Remora skimmer broke loose.

Came home to the pump no longer working, but it had definitely caused a sand storm (had already died back down when I got home). But, I did have one of my clownfish jump from the tank as well. He was part of a pair that I had. I am thinking he must have been spooked by all the commotion!

Sucks!!!!!!!!

Was still a relatively small clown, can I add another to my tank beings the size is still small (probably 1.5-2")

Sorry to hear about your clown going carpet surfing.

And yes, you can add another clown as long as it's smaller and not yet gone through a sex change from male to female.

Sorry for your loss :[. Adding a new small clown will be fine as long as we aren't talking about a maroon clown or something. Adding a male to a female maroon clown is a little different than adding a new male to a percula or ocellaris female.

Good point. My tomato was not very accepting to a new baby tomato either.
