Anyone have experience with the Toms PS4 Unit? I bought one a couple of months ago and the protein skimmer skims very little on it. The filter keeps my water clear - mechanically, it seems like a decent little system, but the protein skimmer isn't skimming much. I just ordered an HOB Octopus 100 after hearing about that in a different thread.
Just wondering what everyone else that has one of these is saying about the skimmer? And if there are modifications out there that can be made to make it more effective. Should I just disconnect the air supply, quiet the system down, and run the new Octopus?
