Hey all,
I had 2 10k 250w bulbs and a center 400w10k bulb. The side 250's seemed a little bluer than the 400w even though they were both 10k's

Today I upgraded the side 250's to 400's and replaced all 3 bulbs with new 400w 10k's. Funny thing was the middle in the tank seemed to still be greener. I went and looked at the lights fron the fish room (It's an in wall) and they all looked the same temperature. Then I realized it!!! The tank has 2 large pieces of glass in the middle for bracing that is casting it's green tint and adjusting the color spectrum of the light going through it.

It's not a big deal but is their a way around it. Maybe some type of high temperature lighting gels?

Anyone resolved this type of thing before? I quess I could try a 14k or a 20k and push the spectrum the other way before it hits the glass. But at 100 a bulb I don't like trial and error to much.

Thanks for the thoughts
