refugium settling question

my new refugium mud is settling down and is all cloudy now, i dont want to turn on the main pump till is clears up, so i want to leave my main pump off over night, i still have my 4 power heads running in the main tank, will this be ok to do overnight?

This should be okay. I would put some filter floss in the return chamber to prevent any particulates from entering the tank.

yeah i made the mistake of turning my return pump on after i added more live sand to my refugium so i could plant mangroves. the next day my whole aquarium was covered in dust lol
