I cant seem to get the flow right in my tank...I have a standard 55gallon and 2 Seio 820's....I am tired of them blowing the sand around....right now I have them situated on either side of the tank facing the center/front glass....does anyone have similar sized powerheads in their 55 with no problems??...

Well, FWIW, I've got 2 1100s in a 75. I've got them at either front corner, aimed down and back toward my rocks.

The one on the right is mounted edsreef style (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=525048) , the other is mounted vertically, with the 90 degree deflector thingy on it.

At first I got a couple of dunes as the flow deflected off the rockwork, but I kind of re-aimed a little and let it settle where it wanted to be.

I bought the pumps used and they only came with the 4 suction cups (with the swivel thingy)...I would love to mount them "edsreef style" but I dont have the rest of the mounting parts...is there a place that you can order replacment mounting parts?

why not buy the new magent mounts for them and the mount them any where you want.
I use a number of different models and do not have that problem but all mounted with magnets.
